I am experimenting with something new 🙂
I turned my blog into an audio. Some people LOVE to listen to audios. And of course, you can read the blog AND listen to the audio haha 🙂

When I look back a couple of years back in my life, I didn’t share a lot of things with people.
I was always holding myself back.
I was constantly living with a mask, afraid that if people would see who I truly am, that everyone would run away.
The last couple of years I have been practicing with being more open.

Of course, in my blogs.
But also in my personal relationships.

I am wondering how that is for you.
Because every time I open up to someone about how I REALLY feel and what I REALLY think, 2 things happen:

A part of me feels FREE and proud. It’s like: “This is who I am. This is ALL of me. I am NOT hiding anymore. I am not running away anymore. It doesn’t matter if you agree with me or want the same things, but at least I am sharing my thoughts and desires.”
And my heart opens.
And I connect to myself a little more.
And my connection to life deepens.
And also to the other person.

And then the other part of me feels SUPER vulnerable.
The other half of me is SO afraid to be rejected.
The other half of me just can’t handle the pain of being rejected.
It just doesn’t want to experience that pain yet AGAIN.

And of course, it’s not a rejection of ME.
It’s always something they can’t yet experience in themselves. It’s something that they aren’t willing to choose or be (yet or ever), and that hasn’t really got anything to do with me.
You can never depend on ONE person to get what you want. It’s just not how it works.
You can have ALL the clients, ALL the love, ALL the attention, ALL the sex, ALL the whatever you want and whatever you desire.
But you can’t FORCE it to happen with ONE specific person.

There is always a client who DOES want to work with you and who can’t WAIT to work with you and is over the moon excited.
There is always a lover that is just as crazy about you as you are for him or here.
There is always a friend who wants the EXACT same thing as you.

The ONLY thing you have to do is realign.
YOU have been honest. That’s ALL you have to do.
It’s JUST a matter of time. That’s ALL it is, before the right person or people come into your life who DO want what you want.
You are going through a BIG shift.
And as long as you are still in the middle of that shift, some people may cross your path who are not yet SOUL aligned people.

Maybe they BECOME Soul aligned people. BUT that can ONLY happen if you are open. If you are fully and completely you.
If you have the guts to share your deepest thoughts and desires.
If there is NOTHING that you are holding back.
Because how the hell can they decide if they love you as much as you love them?

And yes, that might be scary as hell.
Because they might NOT love you as much.
And they might say it.
And that might hurt you.
And it might take you a bit to heal your heart again and open up again.

But you know what?
If they love the “fake” you, they will NEVER love the REAL you!
If they fall in love with the fake you, they will leave you as soon as you decide it’s time to become YOU.
And that will hurt even MORE.

If people get in a relationship with you if it’s not really YOU they are getting, it feels that you can never ever give enough.
It feels like you are always giving and giving and never get anything back.
You think that if you work hard enough and give enough, that in time they will grow to love you.
But they really won’t.
Because they don’t know who you are.
They think THIS is you. This fake person you are showing them.
THAT person is what they expect from you.
And why wouldn’t they like that version of you?
Because you are working super hard to please the other person.
Hoping they will one day see you for who you really are.
Scared that being real might push them away.
Scared that if you show who YOU are, that they will leave you.

But let’s be honest.
Those are NOT the relationships that are going to fill your soul.
Isn’t it time for MORE?
Isn’t it time you show people your SOUL?
Isn’t it time to open up and let your heart speak.
To share what you REALLY desire and what you REALLY think.
Not just the surface based stuff.
No the DEEP stuff.
And you KNOW what I am talking about.
You KNOW where you are holding back.
You know with WHO you are holding back.

Maybe with your partner.
Maybe with your clients.
Maybe with the message you want to share through your business.
Maybe with someone you are in love with.
Maybe with a friend.
Maybe with your parents or a sibling.
Or maybe with ALL these people.

Aren’t you getting tired of it?
Isn’t your heart literally HURTING because you are AL.FUCKING.WAYS holding back?
Because you are ALWAYS putting up this wall between you and other people.

I LOVE Eckhart Tolle’s quote he shared this morning on his Instagram page:

“If you both agree that the relationship will be your spiritual practice, so much the better. You can then express your thoughts and feelings to each other as soon as they occur, or as soon as a reaction comes up, so that you do not create a time gap in which an unexpressed or unacknowledged emotion or grievance can fester and grow. Learn to give expression to what you feel without blaming. Learn to listen to your partner in an open, nondefensive way. Give your partner space for expressing himself or herself. Be present. Accusing, defending, attacking — all those patterns that are designed to strengthen or protect the ego or to get its needs met will then become redundant. Giving space to others — and to yourself — is vital. Love cannot flourish without it. ~Eckhart Tolle #thepowerofnow (pg.160-161)”

And that’s really what it is right?
Sharing and being open and honest without blaming, defending or attacking.
There is SO much more possible in ALL your relationships if you do that.
It might be difficult at first, but the reward is SO big….
You give yourself the change to feel REALLY connected.
To go DEEP with people.
To feel loved and to love.
To feel completely accepted, ESPECIALLY by YOURSELF!
And your heart just relaxes and is totally open to receiving.
